29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer does not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) The employer does not ensure that each potentially exposed employee is trained to recognize fall hazards and the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. This violation was most recently observed at 1307 Mount De Chantal Rd, Wheeling, WV, where on or about March 29, 2022, the employer did not provide training to employees performing roofing work, exposing employees to falls of 18-28 feet. Charm Builders, Ltd. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1530421, citation number 3, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/29/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 1021 Mount De Chantal Rd, Wheeling, WV. Charm Builders, Ltd. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1426866, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/12/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1720 Jane St., Pittsburgh, PA.
