29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet (1.22 m) or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(i) through (v)), on all open sides: a) On or about March 28, 2014, at the Central Transport terminal, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 4'-2", in the following instances; Instance 1: The unguarded open sided floor on each side of the metal stair platform located at bay #57, was not guarded by a standard railing or its equivalent on all open sides. Instances 2 and 3: At loading dock bays #60 and 75, were not guarded by a standard railing or its equivalent. b) On or about June 11, 2014, at the Central Transport terminal, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 4'-2", in the following instances; Instance 4: The unguarded open sided floor on each side of the metal stair platform located at bay #57, was not guarded by a standard railing or its equivalent on all open sides. Instances 5, 6 and 7: At loading dock bays #48, 75 and 187, were not guarded by a standard railing or equivalent. Central Transport LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 1910.23 (c)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 950068, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 20, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 150 Becknell Street, Pearl, MS. Central Transport LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 1910.23 (c)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 313631491, Citation Number 1, Item Number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on September 14, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 400 Childre Road, Pearl, MS.
