29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer shall have each employee who is involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question. a) Mississippi Delta Community College - On or about February 27, 2024, the employer did not ensure that employees erecting a scaffold platform were trained by a competent person. The Bush Masonry, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.454( b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1465919, citation number 1, item number1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/09/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2535 Elkhart Drive in Navarre, FL.
