29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) On January 29, 2024, at 316 Flint Drive in Bismarck, North Dakota; employees were installing sheathing on new residential construction at heights of up to 22 feet above the ground and were exposed to falls from those heights while not using a fall protection system. The exposed employee was not trained in the detection and avoidance of fall hazards nor in the proper use and limitations of fall protection systems.
