29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly. U.S Postal Service: On and/or before May 30, 2023, fire extinguishers that were mounted on the wall(s) for emergency use were not inspected monthly. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to fire hazard(s). The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.157(e)(2)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1375369, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03-22-2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1300 Evans Ave, San Francisco, CA 94188.
