29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a. Located at 161 Kohler Street, Lot 246, Pickerington, Ohio, 43147: On or about October 21, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees who were operating pneumatic nail guns to install sheathing on the roof trusses utilized eye protection. As a result, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards associated with operation of the pneumatic nail guns. Antonio Aguilar Alva was previously cited for a Repeat-Serious violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1593580, citation number 2, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on September 26, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at Lot# RVO 341, 482 Rochdale Run, Delaware, Ohio.
