29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. (a) Location - 27 Andrews Parkway, Devens, MA On or about 10/07/21, employees were not protected from falling while using a ladder that did not extend at least 3 feet above the roof's edge. Barry Billcliff was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1443647, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/04/20, with respect to a workplace located at 472 NH-111, Hampstead, NH 03841.
