29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:(a) (LOCATION) (IDENTIFY SPECIFIC OPERATION(S) AND/OR CONDITIONS) a) 118 Amethyst Dr., Flowood MS - On or about August 28, 2019, employees were using a portable ladder that was not extended at least 3 feet above the landing of the roof, exposing employees to a fall hazard. Neftali Barron was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 990133, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 27, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at 103 Luvie Court, Madison MS 39110.
