29 CFR 1926.252(a): An enclosed chute of wood, or equivalent material, was not used where materials were dropped more than 20 feet to points lying outside the exterior walls of the building(s): a) Construction site, Roof of unit block 13-25 - On or about October 4, 2018, employees threw cut off portions of roof sheathing from the roof more than 20 feet to the ground below, exposing employees walking/working below to serious injury from the falling debris. Brutus Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.252(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1315892, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/10/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1402 South Ave., Plainfield, NJ 07060.
