29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. 1) Jobsite: The employer failed to provide adequate training for employees to recognize and mitigate fall hazards on the jobsite. Employees working on the roof of the Heatherwood Apartment building did not have fall protection training thus exposing them to fall hazards while working approximately 25 feet from the ground. Condition noted on or about 28 OCT 2016. Employer History: The employer, under the company name of All Brothers Contracting, Llc, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1065524, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/15/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 78 Cheltenham Dr. Reading, PA 19610.
