29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible: a.) The employer does not ensure that employees are provided with the information in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 while employees voluntarily use disposable dust mask respirators during work operations including, but not limited to, grain shoveling operations. This violation was most recently observed in production areas at 73 Canal Street, Albion, PA on or about, February 10th, 2016 where employees were wearing disposable dust masks during work operations including, but not limited to, grain shoveling operations. To abate this ongoing violation, the employer must provide the information in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 to employees who are voluntarily using disposable dust mask respirators during work operations including, but not limited to, grain shoveling operations. The employer may obtain information related to Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 from the OSHA website located at www.osha.gov. The Mattocks Five, Inc. dba Albion Mill was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.134(c)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 930190, citation number 1, item number 1c, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/21/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 73 Canal Street, Albion Pa, 16401.
