29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about October 19, 2015 through November 10, 2015, employees working on platforms in vat room two were exposed to the ingoing nip points created by the cabbage conveyor belts entering the vats. GLK Foods LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 936123, citation number 1, item number 8 and was affirmed as a final order on June 16, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 400 Clark St. Bear Creek, WI 54922. GLK Foods LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29CFR 1910.212(a)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number315850503, citation number 2, item number 4, and was affirmed as a final order on September, 21, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 11 Clark Street, Shortsville, New York, 14548.
