Text For Citation: 03 Item/Group: 001B Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about August 10, 2022, at an establishment located at 4500 North Snowy Owl Court in Appleton, Wisconsin. Employees of Central Construction, LLC were exposed to fall hazards while performing residential roofing activities and not having been trained on the hazards associated with falls. Central Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1554410 citation number 1, item number 1, group b and was affirmed as a final order on April 27, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 343 Bell Street, Neenah, WI 54956.
