29 CFR 1910.134(c): The employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory protection program with required worksite-specific procedures and elements for required respirator use: Polishing rooms: On or about February 23, 2017, the employer had not developed and implemented an adequate written respiratory protection program with required worksite-specific procedures and information when employees were required to wear respirators while polishing. Specifically the plan did not address or did not adequately address: · Information and details about the proper use, placement, limitations, and maintenance of the respirators used at the facility; · details about the healthcare provider/source to be used for employee medical evaluations; · and identification of the type of respirator selected for use in the facility. Apmar USA, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.134(c) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1147216, citation number 1, item number 4(a) and was affirmed as a final order on 8/11/16, with respect to a workplace located at 175 Progress Ave, Springfield MA.
