29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a. On or about November 29, 2016, at the plant, the employer did not developed, document and utilize an energy control procedure for their employees while they were required to perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on the re-spool machine on the take-up side, employees are exposed to caught-in and crushing hazards. b. On or about November 29, 2016, at the plant, the employer did not developed, document and utilize an energy control procedure for their employees while they were required to make splices to copper and change out bobbins on the screening machine # 2, employees are exposed to struck-by, caught-in and crushing hazards. Gulf Cable LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1146644, citation number 01, item number 02a and was affirmed as a final order on July 25, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1200 Industrial Blvd. Milton, FL 32583.
