29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: a.) The employer is not implementing and maintaining a written hazard communication program while employees are performing work with and around hazardous substances including, but not limited to, liquid propane, various grain dusts/combustible dust, PB penetrating catalyst, and magnesium oxide. This violation was most recently observed in production areas located at 73 Canal Street, Albion, PA on or about, February 10th, 2016 where employees are performing work operations with and around hazardous substances including, but not limited to, liquid propane, various grain dusts/combustible dust, PB penetrating catalyst, and magnesium oxide. To abate this ongoing violation, the employer must develop and implement a written hazard communication program. The employer may utilize information related to hazard communication from the OSHA website located at www.osha.gov. The Mattocks Five, Inc. dba Albion Mill was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 930190, citation number 1, item number 3a, and was affirmed as a final order on 10/21/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 73 Canal Street, Albion Pa, 16401.
