29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition. a. Newark Liberty Int'l Airport, Terminal C, Baggage Room The Terminal C baggage room was not kept in a clean and orderly condition. Work areas around the baggage conveyor where employees stood to unload baggage onto the conveyor had debris which included broken and damaged furniture which were missing legs, feet, rollers and arm rests and the GSE battery charging area were cluttered with trash cans and other debris. Violation observed on or about April 9, 2014 b. Newark Liberty Int'l Airport, Terminal C, Baggage Room Employee Break Area The Terminal C baggage room break area was not kept in a clean and orderly condition. Break room had debris left on top of the vending machines which included, but was not limited to empty soda bottles, paper change rollers, and other debris.
