29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Each authorized employee shall receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. a. On or about January 14, 2025, the employer did not ensure that employees were sufficiently trained to recognize the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control when they serviced or maintenance on the Brewco Debarker line, such as but not limited to unjamming log activities at the infeed trough line and vicinity of the log kicker #2. Pallet Distributors Inc dba ePallet Inc was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1767380, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 02, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 10501 Burt Street, Byesville, Ohio 43723.
