29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical agents: a) On October 10 ,2024, Employees were exposed to struck by hazards not wearing eye protection while using pneumatic nail guns. Aurelio Ochoa dba Aurelio Ochoa was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1747556, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on September 30, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 60 Witt Rd. South Barrington, IL 60010. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
