29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): Walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. a) On or about August 15th, 2024, the employer did not ensure that the exit stairs from the cotton room to the outside of the facility were in a safe condition in that the stairs are rusting and corroding with visible holes in the stairs.
