29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area. a) 731 Avenue H Columbia, PA 17512 and 615 Locust St. Columbia PA 17512 - On or about August 8, 2024, employees were using chemicals to include but not limited to EasiSolv 120 Solvent Cleaner, SW37 Universal Screenwash, 44 Stencil Remover Powder, Mineral Spirits, and Wil-Bond. Employees were not provided with effective information and training on the hazardous chemicals in their work area. The Susquehanna Glass Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1567127, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 29, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 731 Avenue H Columbia, PA 17512. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
