29 CFR 1926.502(d)(15):Anchorages used for attachment of personal fall arrest equipment shall be independent of any anchorage being used to support or suspend platforms and capable of supporting at least 5,000 pounds (22.2 kN) per employee attached. On or about July 11, 2024, employees performing residential construction activities improperly installed a fall protection anchor that was not capable of supporting 5,000 pounds, or installed per the manufactures specifications. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
