29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) On or about April 29, 2024, employees were exposed to eye injury while operating pneumatic nail guns without the benefit of eye protection. Rya Ca Construction, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1613734, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 26, 2023, with respect to a worksite located at 1500 Williams Street, River Forest, Illinois. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
