29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. a- 4 Tori Lane, Manalapan NJ: The company worksite Foreman was exposed to worksite fall hazards, approximately 8 feet to the concrete flooring below, when improperly using an A-framed ladder at the worksite. The company worksite Foreman did not receive ladder hazard recognition and minimization training from the employer at the time of and prior to the worksite inspection. Condition observed on or about 03/19/24. Road Contractor Corporation was previously cited for a Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1060(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1686108, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/02/23, with respect to a workplace located at 116 Main Street - Bethesda United Methodist Church, Middletown DE. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.
