29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: The employer does not provide fall protection training to its employees exposed to fall hazards. a. At the above addressed jobsite, employees perform residential carpentry operations without being provided training on how to minimize fall hazards, thereby exposing employees to hazards associated with falls. This was most recently documented on March 4, 2024, at the jobsite of a residential home located at Lot 21, 8647 Chilton Ct., Frankfort, IL 60423. An employee conducting carpentry operations was exposed to the hazard of falling approximately twelve (12) feet to the ground below. Dromin Construction Inc. was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1667857, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 15, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 22923 Sara Springs Dr., Frankfort, IL 60423. Dromin Construction Inc. was previously cited for an Other-Than-Serious violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1544412, citation number 3, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on January 19, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8529 (Lot 31) Blue Stone Ct., Frankfort, IL 60423.
