29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. a. On or about November 30, 2023, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that periodic inspections were performed at least annually with authorized employees who performed maintenance and servicing covered tasks on machinery throughout the facility, including, but not limited to, the Chiyoda SP-90 bender (model: SP-90S; serial no: 8507). b. On or about November 30, 2023, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that periodic inspections were performed at least annually with authorized employees who performed maintenance and servicing covered tasks on machinery throughout the facility, including, but not limited to, the Comco KB-70 bender (model: KB-70NS; serial no: K-02707-N).
