Located at 300 S Jefferson Ave, Plain City, OH 43064: On or about August 9, 2023, employees working on a commercial roofing project did not wear eye or face protection as they used pneumatic nail guns to attach shingles to a roof, which exposed them to struck-by hazards. Jara Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1518040, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 13, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 11121 Cedar Crest Drive, Plain City, OH 43064. Jara Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1512315, citation number 3, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 15, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 766 Fescue Road, Lot 381, Sunbury, OH 43074.
