29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds shall be fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports as follows: location: exterior of building, Prospect St. & Hawthorne Ave. on or about: 7/12/23 a) The employer did not ensure that all working levels of the tubular welded frame scaffold used by employees were fully planked. The employees were exposed to a fall of 60 feet. location: exterior of building, Prospect St. & Hawthorne Ave. on or about: 7/12/23 b) The employer did not ensure that all working levels of the tubular welded frame scaffold used by employees were fully planked. Employees were working from the crossbraces. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19. The Rennon Construction Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.451(b)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1643281, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/26/23, with respect to a workplace located at 263 West End Ave., New York, NY 10023. The Rennon Construction Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.451(b)(2)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1287604, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/26/23, with respect to a workplace located at 262-264 Sullivan Place, Brooklyn, NY 11225.
