29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: U.S Post Office: On and/or before May 30, 2023, employees used corrosive cleaners such as a Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner to clean the restroom(s). The employer had not placed an eye wash station in the facility. The employee(s) were potentially exposed to severe eye burns and or blindness. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.151(c)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1581717, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05-27-2022, with respect to a workplace located at 24760 South Main Street Carson, CA 90745.
