29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1):The employer did not initiate and maintain accident prevention programs as necessary to comply with this part: a) On or about August 17, 2022. The employer (Victor Blanco) does not have a plan or program to identify job site hazards which would assist employees in maintaining a safe working environment. Such programs would support the employer and employees in identifying and avoiding potential hazards such as falls during job site operations, decreasing the probability of employee injury and/or illness. The violation was most recently observed at 4446 Bellow Drive, Lorain OH 44053, where employees are not protected from a 25 feet fall to the ground below. To abate this hazard the employer must initiate, maintain, and communicate an accident prevention program(s) to support employees in identifying and avoiding potential jobsite hazards associated with the employer line of work. Victor Blanco was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.20(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1599952, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on August 12, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 4839 Westwind's Ave. Port Clinton, OH 43452. Victor Blanco was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.20(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1460356, citation number 2, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on March 20, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at Tradewinds Dr., Catawba, OH 43010. Victor Blanco was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.20(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1428932, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on November 6, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 4587 Clifton Mill SUBLOT MG-0083, North Ridgeville, OH 44035.
