29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer does not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: On or about June 22, 2022 the employer Mike Krueger dba Altogether Roofing, LLC at jobsite located at 3359 Stonebrooke Ln. Maumee OH, 43537 does not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when performing roofing work on a two story single family residential home while exposed to potential struck by hazards (flying particles/debris) while using pneumatic nail guns. To abate this violation, the employer must provide evidence demonstrating that appropriate eye and face protection is selected and utilized during roofing and other construction activities. Mike Krueger, dba Altogether Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard (29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1)), which was contained in OSHA Inspection #1399714, Citation number 3, Item number 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on November 7, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 25368 Fox Hunt Drive in Perrysburg, Ohio.
