29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: a) 2100 HWY 31 S, Bay Minette, AL 36507, Sweet Brew Manufacturing; On or about June 6, 2022 and at times prior to the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 45 feet in that employees were allowed to work from and be transported in the basket of an aerial lift without requiring the use of fall protection. Empire Steel Erection was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1469141, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/27/20, with respect to a workplace located at 26063 Hwy 31, Bay Minette AL 36507.
