29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: The employer failed to protect employees from eye injuries associated with operating pneumatic nail guns and power tools. This was most recently documented on or about May 23, 2022 at a residential construction jobsite located at 4513 S 215 Ave, Elkhorn Nebraska. An employee was operating a pneumatic nail gun while engaged in residential framing activities without the use of eye protection. Francisco Esquivel Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1335198, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 16, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 33 of the Granite Falls North Subdivision on Cove Hollow Cir, Papillion, NE 68046.
