29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check: On or about February 7, 2022: An employee engaged in baling cardboard at the Mid Nebraska Disposal recycling center at 7337 West Blender Road, Grand Island, Nebraska was exposed to fire hazards associated with lack of annual maintenance checks performed on fire extinguishers in the recycling center.
