29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service, and shall not be placed in service if the examination shows any condition adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle. Such examination shall be made at least daily: a) At building 610, on or about November 18, 2021, and at times prior to, the employer failed to ensure forklifts were being examined daily for safety deficiencies prior to use, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
