Text For Citation: 03 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a) Miller Family Construction, LLC, located at site location 1005 Somerset Drive, Perrysburg, Ohio, on or about July 2, 2021: The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from head injury with the use of protective hard hats while working below employees who were conducting framing activities above. Employees were exposed to potential impact injuries caused by falling materials and/or equipment. Miller Family Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard (29 CFR 1926.100(a) which was contained in OSHA inspection 1394157, Citation number 1, Item number 1 and was affirmed as final order on 06/17/2019, with respect to workplace located at 882 Timber Wood Court, Waterville, OH 43566.
