29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries. a) South Loading Dock - On or about December 1, 2020, Employees were performing warehouse tasks on the South loading dock. A fire extinguisher, mounted and identified for employee use near column line E.1, was obstructed by a rigid wire container and not readily accessible to employees. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFP 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1302903, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on March 1, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2777 Brentwood Rd, Raleigh NC 27604.
