29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(ii): A powered industrial truck is unattended when the operator is 25 ft. or more away from the vehicle which remains in his view, or whenever the operator leaves the vehicle and it is not in his view. a) TP 12 - On or about October 9, 2019, an employee left the Toyota Electric stand up Model 8BRU18 SN: 38920 unattended and out of the field of his view while pick up product on the floor and walked away with the forklift still running leaving it out of the field of view. b) Production - On or about October 9, 2019, an employee left the Toyota Electric stand up Model 8BRU18 SN: 38922 unattended when it was left running on the production floor.
