29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: a. On or about June 18, 2018, at the above addressed jobsite, employees using a pneumatic nail gun did not wear safety glasses, thereby exposing the employees to the hazards associated with eye injuries. Manuel Gallardo dba Gallardo's Construction Services was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.102(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1257385, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/02/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 19700 Silverside Dr., Tinley Park, IL. Manuel Gallardo dba Gallardo's Construction Services was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.102(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1261444, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/02/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 9018 Basswood Dr., Tinley Park, IL.
