29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 2/13/2018 employees at the Ocean Beach Park construction project were expos to approximately 30' falls. Employees were engaged in carpentry activities withhout fall protection. Connecticut Restoration, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 897991, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/16/13, with respect to a workplace located at 189/191 Montauk Avenue, New London, CT 06320.
