29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s). a) Worksite - The employer does not ensure that a program is in place for a competent to perform frequent and regular worksite inspections. This violation was most recently observed at 1325 Chelsea Drive, Bethlehem, PA on June 22, 2016, when employees engaged in framing work were exposed to a variety of fall and ladder hazards, but these were not identified and corrected by a competent persons inspection. The employer's ongoing obligation is to ensure that frequent and regular inspections are being completed by a competent person. Station Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1106495, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 25, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 9 Wells Drive in Medford, NJ. Station Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1117761, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 6, 2016.
