29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a). On or about 4/21/16, on site, for employees using chemicals during spray painting operations to include Sherwin-Williams Thinner. The thinner contains chemicals, such as, but not limited to, Xyelene and Toluene. The employer did not conduct a hazard assessment to determine the need for PPE such as safety glasses and safety gloves.
