29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Establishment The employer did not provide hazard communication training for employees exposed to sulfuric acid from the fork truck battery. Violation occurred on or about 12/27/2015 Wei-Chuan USA, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 315236109, Citation 1, Item 3b, issued on 2/15/2011, final order date 3/15/2011.
