29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation (P.O.O.) of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a/ Inside of the Maintenance Department, the unguarded P.O.O. belonging to the Uni-Hydra Ironworker, m/n 5074, s/n 3PE322A, was approximately one inch wide. The unguarded P.O.O. was the structural shear on this machine. St. Louis Cold Drawn Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.219(e)(3)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 908320, citation 1, item 7, and was affirmed as a final order on 09/10/14, with respect to a workplace located at 1060 Pershall Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63137.
