29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): Within ten calendar days after the abatement date, the employer must certify to OSHA (the Agency) that each cited violation has been abated, except as provided in paragraph (c)(2) of this section: a. The employer has failed to submit abatement certification within ten days of the abatement date, March 13, 2015, for a violation of 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1) issued as citation 1, item 1, and described as follows: At the worksite located at 4455 Winchester Pike, Columbus, Ohio, employees used extension ladders that did not extend at least three feet above the landing surface to access the two story roof, thereby being exposed to a 19 foot fall hazard.
