29 CFR 1910.212(a)(4): Revolving drum(s), barrel(s), or container(s) were not guarded by enclosure(s) which were interlocked with the drive mechanism so that the barrel(s), drum(s), or container(s) could not revolve unless the enclosure(s) were in place: In the following locations, tumbling/spinning equipment was not provided with an interlocked enclosure: A. Metal Department, Tumbling Area: On, or about, August 6, 2021, the following centrifuge driers were missing the linkage that required the brake to be activated before the lid could be opened: 1. Machine 0224, Nobles. 2. Machine 0225, Nobles. B. Plastics Finishing: On, or about, August 27, 2021, the Henderson Bros. rotary tumbler was not provided with safeguarding. C. Plastics Finishing: On, or about, August 27, 2021, Machine #358, a Wheelabrator Tumble Blast finishing machine, was not provided with a door interlock.
