29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii) On or about: February 8, 2022 Location: 20 Wilson Ave, Spring Valley NY 10956 ALJ Home Improvement Inc does not ensure that each employee is trained by competent person on fall hazards while engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels. This violation was most recently observed, on or about February 8, 2022, at 20 Wilson Ave. Spring Valley, NY 10956: a- Employees engaged in roofing activities on the 6 on 12 pitched roof of a three story 9-unit residential building were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 30ft and were not trained to recognize and mitigate fall hazards by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii).
