29 CFR 1910.334(a)(3)(i): A flexible cord used with grounding-type equipment did not contain an electric grounding conductor: a) On or about July 10, 2012, and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical shock and fire hazards while they used an electrical cord that was missing a grounding pin. Springs Transmissions & Automotive, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.334(a)(3)(i) or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 29573, Citation 3, Item 8b, issued June 16, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 3310 Chelton Loop North, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. This citation became final on February 29, 2012. The final abatement date for this citation was June 21, 2011. Springs Transmissions & Automotive, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.334(a)(3)(i) or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 313718355, Citation 1, Item 9c, issued April 5, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 3310 Chelton Loop North, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
