29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. NOX US, LLC - Fostoria, Ohio: The employer does not ensure the powered rollers on the Box Machine roller conveyor, located at L-2 Packing D-Cutter Line, are guarded to protect employees from being caught in the rotating rollers. This was most recently observed on May 17, 2022, when employees were working at the Box Machine roller. NOX US, LLC was previously cited for a Serious violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1419279, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 17, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 931 South Springville Avenue, Fostoria, Ohio 44830.
