29 CFR 1910.22(d)(2): Hazardous conditions on walkingworking surfaces were not corrected or repaired before an employee uses the walking-working surface again. If the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard must be guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired" On or about March 15, 2018, employees were exposed to slip and fall hazards when the employees balanced with one foot on the stairs and one on the cross brace when reaching onto the belt conveyor upper levels to adjust and cut the greenstick. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
